About
As an Associate Technology Manager at UIC’s Office of Technology Management, Diana oversees the intellectual property protection and commercialization of innovative life science technologies developed within the College of Medicine and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her work focuses on evaluating research, securing IP rights, and fostering partnerships between UIC inventors and industry collaborators. OTM's mission is to translate academic discoveries into real-world impact by facilitating strategic collaborations and advancing technologies toward market readiness.
Prior to joining OTM, Diana received her B.S. in Cell Biology from Purdue University and earned both her M.S. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Rush University. Her research efforts focused on bridging clinical and basic science to investigate neurological disorders, particularly those arising from mutations in the FMR1 gene.
