Tree Walk
June 11, 2019
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
The purpose is to get people outside for a short walk and to spend some time noticing our many campus trees. Taking a closer look at things we see every day can enrich our experience of being on campus, and gets us to slow down in a place where we might otherwise be rushing by.
The 60 minute session would include:
- A short introduction to how the campus cares for its tree “residents” and benefits of trees by Ground Supervisor, Carly Rizor
- 30 minutes using the Tree Walk guided by a campus arborist from Bartlett
- A conclusion in the Grove area (by SEO) for 15 minutes to relax and enjoy the space on the provided seating
