James Alford Currently Serves as a Cohort Academic Advisor in the College of Business and one of the Co-Chairs for The Advisory Committee for Black Student Access at UIC. He is a native of Chicago where he was born and raised. He is a proud Trio SSS Alum where he got his BA in Political Science/ minor in Black Studies and a M.S.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University.
