Salvador Delgado is a first generation student and professional. He completed an associates degree from Harold Washington College in Paralegal Studies, and a bachelor's degree in Public Policy from University of Illinois Chicago​.​ Salvador works as the Graduate Assistant for the Academic Professional Advisory Committee (APAC). He is currently a graduate student at the University of Illinois Chicago in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs​ department studying​ Public Policy.
