Patricia is currently the Director of Facility Information Management & Business Services at Planning, Sustainability and Project Management under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services. She holds a wealth of experience in higher education facilities information management and capital project finances and her leadership extends nationally as she serves as the President of the Higher Education Facilities Management Alliance (URL: https://www.hefma.com). A proud alumna of UIC, she holds two master's degrees from our institution - an MBA and an MA (Art History). She is also a Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP), a credential that represents a mastery of professional expertise and is a mark of superior proficiency in the core competencies for education facilities professionals.
Patricia's expertise lies in data analytics, space management, and business process improvement and her team maintains accurate records of campus spaces, facilities, and supporting infrastructure, with a particular focus on space management, allocation, and utilization. Beyond maintaining UIC's facility archives and maps, and providing design support to the campus, Patricia's responsibilities also extend to overseeing project finances on behalf of clients. Her scope includes financial planning, budgeting, monitoring, and control related to UIC’s construction and renovation projects and departmental activities.
