Anne Burkhart is the APAC Executive Committee Vice-Chair. Anne is a graduate of the UIC John Marshall Law School, a member of the Illinois Bar, and registered as a US Patent Attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Anne works in the Office of Technology Management at UIC. Before joining UIC, Anne worked as in-house counsel at a global medical device company, where she worked closely with the marketing, engineering, and executive leadership teams to protect the IP rights of the company across the globe. She has also served as outside counsel to a number of global corporations. Anne has 5 wonderful children, 2 big dogs, and loves to garden in her free time.
