Michael Hagins has an extensive background in hospital and clinical operations having served in executive leadership roles in the private practice, community hospital, and academic medical center setting, over his 25 years in healthcare.
He joined UIH as the Clinic Director of Urology in July of 2012 where he has proven to be a multifaceted and results focused leader utilizing strategic insight, clarity in operational and clinical needs, and planning abilities to identify and deliver systems optimization, program development, and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity, increasing access and quality while reducing costs and ensuring maximum patient outcomes with service excellence.
Michael is actively engaged in his community and currently serves as treasurer of his local public library, for which he has been a board member for over 5 years. He also served 2 terms as a board member for a local credit union. He is very excited to have been elected to APAC and looks forward to the opportunity to engage with academic professional colleagues for the betterment of the University.
